Hey guys! Okay update time. Brian had surgery yesterday to installa power port implant in which he will receive the medication for the chemotherapy. Which, by the way, he will start on Wednesday. The surgery went very well and he is doing fine. A little sore today but fine none the less. The first chemo treatment is going to be a doosie because they want to start hitting it really hard in the beginning. So the treatment will last about 5 hours or so. He wants to take a kettlebell and do snatches and swings...I told him I didn't think they'd allow it. Doesn't hurt to as I guess. Anyway, looks like one treatment ever 3 weeks for 6-8 treatments. Re-evaluate and go from there. The medical team is super happy about the Non-Hodgkins B-Cell Lymphoma diagnosis. Aparently T-Cells are nasty little buggers that don't like to go away very easily. Anyway, he's super excited to get back in the gym and see you all as well as all his other friends. You all have been amazing over the last few weeks since we learned about this and started whole whooha and although the process is far from over we love you all very much and appreciate the kindness, prayers and well wishes.
